Customizing notifications on WhatsApp is a great way to recognize who is calling you or sending you a message. Previously, these custom notifications were only available on iphones, but now they are also available for the Android app.
Set up different WhatsApp ringtone for different contacts for Android
1. Open WhatsApp and go to the profile screen of the desired contact.
2. On the Contact Info / Profile screen, select Custom Notifications.
3. Check Use custom notifications.
4. Next, tap Ringtones under Call Notifications.
5. Select the desired ringtone, Press OK to confirm and you are done.
Likewise, visit the profile of other contacts and set different WhatsApp call tones for them.
